compétence détection prévention
Detection and prevention consists of using technical means to monitor sites, goods or volumes in order to anticipate and prevent abnormal situations that could jeopardize the smooth running of your organization.
It is an integral part of a security system.

Combined with so-called “slowing-down” protection systems (fences, armored doors, secure entrance systems, safes, security cabinets.), it enables response resources (intervention by security agents or law enforcement agencies, dedicated technical services, etc.) to benefit from an effective response time.

Detection Prevention

Intrusion alarms

Because every need is different, we strive to master all the leading brands and systems on the market, so we can offer solutions tailored to your risks and your budget.

We design, advise on, install and maintain all our systems 24/7. After an audit, we can propose maintenance of your existing installations. Our consultancy and audit department can also provide design and inspection services for your future projects or those already in place, to ensure their efficiency (Project Management Assistance).

Main brands mastered by our technical department: Aritech, Honeywell, Siemens, Risco Group, Tyco Security Products, Vanderbilt

Fire alarms

Fire safety systems (all types) – Natural and mechanical smoke extraction – Fire extinguishers – Plans and signage – Fire and flame-resistant doors
With our various specialist partners, selected according to our ethical and technical criteria, we can meet all your fire prevention needs. Our experience and know-how will bring you peace of mind and reliability, both technically and legally.
We do not provide fire prevention consulting or inspection services. You must refer to a SSI coordinator or a qualified inspection office. In all cases, our SSI services are carried out under the supervision of an SSI coordinator or a control office. All our commissioning or modifications to existing SSI systems are carried out, in duplicate, with the system manufacturer.

Technical alarms

By “technical alarms” we mean all automated devices used to monitor status or data in order to detect and provide information on a given situation:

– Specific premises (computer room, data center, etc.): water detection – air-conditioning fault – temperature fault – inverter fault – extinguishing fault – LVB fault
– Presence counting: Real-time counting of people present on a site or in a defined area, to ensure that the number does not exceed the authorized occupancy limit (IGH, ERP), or simply for surveillance purposes. This type of solution can also be used for visitor statistics.
Human surveillance: Call for help (medical or assistance) – Isolated Worker Station (IWS) GSM or radio – “Dead man” system (triggers and transmits information if there is no movement for a given time).
– Building supervision (commercial and logistics) : Temperatures with thresholds – Lift pumps – Generators – Heaters – Sprinklers – …

Technical alarm management is based either on stand-alone loop management units, or, depending on the size of the project, we can offer customized PLCs for managing one or more sites on a local or remote server, with reports of anomalies and readings to an FTP or SMTP server, and/or to a remote monitoring center”.

Video surveillance

Our video surveillance projects are based on 25 years’ experience in the field. We offer a wide range of solutions to suit every need. We make every effort to find the most suitable products for each case, and work with our specialist partners to master the entire chain: groundworks, foundations, poles, custom-made supports, cameras, LAN, WAN and LTE networks.

We can also help you prepare applications for prefectoral and CNIL authorizations.

Types of video surveillance :

Traditional: indoor / outdoor.
Quality control and production lines.
Embedded and/or autonomous (vehicles or isolated).
Discreet (in compliance with applicable laws and regulations).
Specific: ATEX, waterproof, infrared, thermal.
With analytical intelligence (object surveillance, object abandonment, grouping, etc.).

Access control

With a strong background in risk management, we have, from the outset of our organization, been vitally interested in providing our customers with solutions that meet their needs. In addition to access control systems (RFID, biometric, facial, code, etc.), we also install and maintain mechanical components. Whether it’s a simple electromagnetic suction cup, a motorized lock, a security door block or even a Single Access System (SAS, turnstile, fast lane, etc.), we have the skills and experience.

We can also help you design your protocols, security levels and RFID (DesFire, Mifare, etc.) or NFC applications.

Because every need is different, we strive to master all the leading brands and systems on the market, so we can offer solutions tailored to your risks and your budget. We design, advise on, install and maintain all our systems 24/7. After a technical audit, we can propose maintenance of your existing installations. Our consultancy and audit department can also provide design and inspection services for your future or existing projects (AMO)*.

Main brands mastered by our technical department: Aritech, Honeywell, Siemens, Tyco Security Products, Lenel, Alcea, Elsylog, Eden Innovations, TIL Technologies, Nedap Technology, Vanderbilt

(*) In order to avoid any conflict of interest, Fortress Concept does not provide any technical support for a project where it has been chosen for an audit or AMO mission. We can, however, provide technical support to the service providers in charge of the project in order to achieve the performance objectives expected by the customer. This is where we differ from general engineering firms. We know exactly what we’re asking for.

Remote surveillance

We offer our customers a genuine remote security service.

Telesecurity covers remote surveillance services, as well as interventions, rounds, or occasional surveillance by security guards or dog handlers. Our partners are hand-picked according to our ethics and experience. The PC de Télésurveillance team has been the same for several years, and has a real understanding of our customers, offering a truly human and professional service.

This service is reserved exclusively for systems installed and/or maintained by Fortress Concept.

At each maintenance visit, we require all points to be triggered (1 point = 1 zone), each of which is sent to our PC. A complete list of all triggers, point by point, received at the PC, is given to the customer at the end of the audit. We do not accept alarm summaries grouping together several Cesa-type points on an external transmitter. This makes it more difficult to interpret the progress of an alarm from a distance. We only install transmitters internal to the system, using digital protocols (Contact ID, SIA, etc.).

Supervision

Supervision software brings together all security technologies in a single application. They enable dialogue with video surveillance, intruder alarm, access control and intercom systems, without them being interconnected. The supervisor, while leaving each system independent and even of different brands, creates virtual links and macros to automate the operator’s workstation. The supervisor is supposed, in the initial idea, to simplify the agent’s work and limit the resources required to process an item of information or a situation. Unfortunately, with so many licenses, software and systems, operators often end up regretting their good old wooden synoptic system, complete with site map, on/off switch and indicator lights for each alarm point. Our 25 years’ experience in managing high-risk sites enables us to create control stations that are tailored to the risks involved, and that are simple, robust and reliable.

Modern security technologies are exciting, limitless in terms of possibilities, and fuel our passion for technology. Nevertheless, we must never lose sight of the performance objectives of our solutions, even in the case of operator or supervisory failure.
